Application Deadlines

Regular Registration Deadline: March 1, 2010

Regular applicants (those applying on or after January 1, 2010) will be notified via e-mail by March 31, 2010 regarding their acceptance status. Acceptance is based on a variety of factors including geographic balance, rural versus urban apportionment, and distribution consideration between new and returning teachers.

Applications Received after March 1, 2010

If you are applying after March 1, 2010, your application will be placed in the TAA inactive status folder. Once all active status applicants have been processed, should openings occur in your desired content area, your application will be moved to the active status folder. At that time you will be considered in order of the date your application was received, alongside all other eligible candidates for admission to the 2010 Tennessee Arts Academy session. Should you be accepted, you will be notified via e-mail.

Please note that the last 3 questions (#35-#36-#37) will require you to know some information about your general school student population. You may wish to look at these questions prior to completing the application.
